Prior to establishing IDE Planning, in addition to managing the process of Plan preparation for local authorities, previous experience has included attending as an expert witness at Inquiries and Examinations in Hertfordshire, Kent and the Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames. In private practice, sites have been promoted on behalf of clients for development in emerging Local Plans and Neighbourhood Plans. This grounding in policy work is invaluable in the preparation of planning applications. Most applications are first considered, in one way or another, on the basis of the adopted Plan.
